Exciting News!!!!

Everyone,

A new exciting feature is now in the TRiO SSS Office. For everyone who likes to use their Flash drives/USB’s and laptops, you are now able to print off a printer in the TRiO SSS Office!!! YAY! You might have to take some steps like using a CD disc to download the format for the printer (1 time thing!) and then after that your laptop should recognize it the next time you use it. If you need help feel free to ask any TRiO SSS Staff members for help! We are all very excited to have this new feature in the office for students, yes you, to use.

So come on in and try out the new printer!

REMINDER: Priority Consideration

For all of you that are continuing students or new students to TRiO SSS there is something you all need to be aware of the priority consideration for need-based scholarships.

Reminder: priority consideration for need-based scholarships is connected to the completion of TRiO SSS requirements (3 contacts per semester, including an advising meeting). This means that if you do not have a completed passport then you will not receive priority consideration for scholarship and money! Deadline: April 15, 2015.

In order to complete your passport requirements, we encourage you to take advantage of the workshops, events, online financial literacy education classes, and activities which will be occurring throughout this semester.

Hello TRiO SSS friends! Hope you all had a lovely Winter Break and a Happy New Years! We are so excited to see familiar faces and new faces in the office. We have some great workshops and events that are in the process of being made for you to attend this semester. We hope to see all of your shining faces at these events.

We hope your first few weeks have been great and that you are getting a hang of your schedules and your courses. Make sure to stay in the loop with what is happening via TRiO Facebook Page, Twitter Page, the blog & newsletter, and on the Canvas page so you can attend lots of the great upcoming events! I am also posting them onto the calendar on the blog so keep an eye out for them there too!
